Bruce Springsteen

A unique American voice and legendary concert performer, Bruce Springsteen has been a fixture on the music scene since the release of his first album in 1973. Today, 34 years later, he has a new album titled "Magic" and, together with the E Street Band, he's once again touring the country and overseas. Scott Pelley has a rare behind-the-scenes look.

Great showman, great man. Nothing artificial, no tabloid fodder, no lights, dancers or effects, just good hard work and great song. Bruuuuuce.

I thank Bruce and the E Street Band for many enjoyable and inspiring songs and concerts. Any hearing loss I have acquired was worth every decibal. Thanks for coming back! I hope to see you in concert again.

My husband is a true blue Bruce fan but I really wasn't until I saw him perform. Bruce is quite the performer. He puts everything into his shows and it shows. He is down to earth and really cares about America. I hope he is around for a long time... Rock on Bruce Dollrn@gmail.com

Bruce has neverjgrabbed me. His patriotism (his description, not mine) leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't walk across the street, to see him for free.

The guy's a complete sham. Born to Run is the Jersey state song? It's about GETTING OUT OF THE STATE!

How does Bruce propose we defend our nation from a terrorist threat? Patriot? In his mind I'm sure he is. Bruce, don't attack our administration unless you can offer a better solution and at least say a brief 'thank you' to the military that provides you with the opportunities and freedoms you enjoy. EC

Another multimillionaire elitist who lives in a mansion and his own dreamland…I wish what he and all the other rich Hollywood elitist had it right…problem is the nut cases that we are fighting don’t live in that world and someone is going to need to deal with them (if not us who…the French). Hoping they will go away is a fallacy. It is folks like the boss who will be first to die in a Sharia state. His song “Born to Run” has a whole new meaning in this context.

Patriot? This from a guy who dodged service in 'Nam by faking brain damage? I wholly concur with bulllseyecustom's comments. Go away, Bruce.

That shill reporter who interviewd him looks like the same guy who interviewed the president of Iran. Doesn't 60 minutes have a jornalist on staff to do serious reporting. Someone who can come with 20 questions instead of asking one question 20 different ways. Tim Russert, Jim Lehrer & company should give semimars to this guy on what journalism is all about.
