Rex

Meet Rex: A little boy with both a severe disability and a great genius. He is a musical savant. Rex was born blind, with brain damage so severe it looked as though he would never walk, talk, or do much of anything. And yet, he has a musical talent few of us can imagine. Lesley Stahl has been following the amazing story of Rex Lewis-Clack for more than four years.

Amazing how if we take all the middle elements from life itself and connect the mind to something directly, it can bring miracles to life and create something absolutely pure. We tend to get distracted from our true goals in life by having extra capabilities but we don't use them as we should. Thanks Rex, for opening people's eyes.

the only thing i have to say is: THE LORD IS TRULLY AMAZING. He is fair and just. He blessed these children with such talents that not many people have to live their lives to the fullest aside from their disabilities.

It's difficult to see a child with a disability but when you see someone so amazing as Rex you start to view it from a totally different perspective. Towards the end of these videos you admire his talents and are probably envious of them. Music is his life. He thrives from it and clearly from watching the videos he's a perfectionist with it. He entertains and inspires others and will for decades to come. At such a young age he has accomplished more than many people do in their lifetime. Good for you Rex. All the best. Your musical works are brilliant.
