The Duke Rape Case

When three members of the Duke University lacrosse team were indicted for rape in the spring of 2006, the case put one of the country's most prominent universities under intense scrutiny.

It also pushed onto a national stage divisive issues of race, gender, politics and privilege. The three players are white and come from wealthy families. The alleged victim is black, a local dancer hired to perform at a team party, where she claims she was assaulted and raped in a bathroom.

The three indicted players speak exclusively to Ed Bradley, as does the other dancer present that night.
