Princess Diana

It's been 10 years since the sudden death of Princess Diana, on August 31st 1997, in an accident caused by her drunken chauffeur Henri Paul. We remember Diana with reports from a special "60 Minutes" on the day of her death, and with Mike Wallace's later interview of Dodi Fayed's former bodyguards Kez Wingfield and Trevor Rees. Rees was in the car with Diana and Dodi and is the only survivor of the crash.

Please let this poor woman rest in peace! This obsession with life as spectator sport needs to stop. No wonder we have stupid wars and a government/Congress with no accountability. They know Diana and the antics of the follow-on cohorts Lohan and Hilton will divert attention from anything real. From blue semen stained dresses to questions of homosexual behaviour anything trivial will keep the ADDled minds of today's media viewers going.

It's just sad that we lose the good people of this world while the evil ones live on! But God knows best and she left a good example for us to follow.

Rest in peace, yes that's nice. She was a person who at times, and like all celebrities use the media. They welcome that camera and those photogs chasing after them. When they want privacy, then they turn on the media and complain of harrassment. She wanted fame and fortune and she got it!!

I can't remember--were the people in the car wearing seatbelts? On TV when they show someone in a sedan or limo (reality shows) they are rarely wearing seatbelts--I just don't understand it.

According to the '06 official report, Trevor Rees-J (the survivor) was NOT wearing a seatbelt. Henri Paul's blood alcohol level was 3x the legal DWI level. Also prescription drugs found in his bloodstream.
