While I can appreciate only showing the young 'current' players of the game, if it weren't for the older generation of players there probably wouldn't be a PGA or USGA to watch or participate in. I hope that the show gives time to the Gary Players, Arnold Palmers, and Billy Caspers of the golf world.

The Gary Players', Arnold Palmers', and Billy Caspers' of the world are certainly due their credit. However, these were different times which produced prototypes and icons from an unleveled playing field. Tiger's talent and energy brought a whole new element to the game, and as a result, the talent pool is rising exponentially. The downside is that younger players are getting attention early-on before they've earned it. You see a lot of this now in every major sport.

I have always found that some people tend to "fault" Black sport features irregardles of what type of sports that they are playing in. If it isn't use of drugs (major fault), it's always seems to something that enhances their ability in the game(s). No matter what happens, Blacks will never before "Legends with faults" jhawk1946oct@yahoo.com

A college education may be very important for Wie! And I agree - Legends??? That may be a little strong for most of these golfers with the exception of Woods and Sorenstam.

Let's go a little easy on the legend talk, eh? Tiger's a legend, Annika maybe. John's a legendary drinker. Michelle is a child. Typical 60 Minutes extreme sensationalism.

John Daly is on the junior tour living off of sponsor exemptions. Michelle Wie nearly lost her LPGA card for the year and feigned injury to keep from recording a final round 87! I shoot that number regularly and my playing partners would only call me legend in my own mind. Puhleeeze... Annika and Tiger are great players maybe even worthy eventually of that title but both have another 15-20 years to go before it can be bestowed...
