I think they were great and the piece that 60 minutes did on Jetes was just fantastic.

This is great stuff for a guy who grew up a Yankees fan. The Mick was the only hero I ever had. Great to hear Billy Crystal talk about him.

A great profile on our humble super-captain, Derek Jeter, who ironiclly at the beginning of the 2006 season , was picked by some baseball geniouses as the most over-rated player in baseball! Perhaps Cooperstown will have a special over-rated section for Jeter when he goes into the Hall of Fame on the first ballet. I hope those guys who called him over-rated were watching Derek's routine 5 for 5 performance against the tigers last night in the division playoffs!

I've been a baseball fan for 55 years and have seen some of the greatest athletes ever. Baseball needed a Babe Ruth to recover from its scandelous past. It needed a Jackie Robinson to open people's eyes and understand what we were missing. In today's steroid world it needs a Derek Jeter to restore the wholesomeness of the game.

Derek Jeter, Johnny Damon, Jason Giambi are the greatest Yankees today. Lou Gehrig is the greatest Yankee of All-Time.Mantle was great n the 60,s Dimaggio was great in the late 30's.Dent and Reggie were awesome in the 70's. And a future great Yankee will be born tomorrrow.

I get so emotional everytime I listen to the Yankee fans of today and Yertereday. It gives me someting to live for and appreciate and pass on to my children and grand-children. This is what baseball means to all of us. With every thing that is going on in the world today, baseball is a way of sharing greatness and joy. Just a way of being free.
