It's not just about the weight loss, it has to be a lifestyle change and commitment. You need to change what you eat and your habits. Try to eat all fresh foods, whole grain starches, and avoid fried, processed, and junk foods. Sugar and fat is the worst. Fruits, nuts and vegetables are the best replacements for all the crap food! Anything that is all natural and fresh is the best. It's amazing how much healtheir and happier you can be, besides the weight loss your health and happiness will change dramatically. It's not a quick fix it happens gradually but it will stick with you for your lifetime. You must also of course include exercise but that get's easy as time goes on, start off slow and as the weight comes off it gets easier and easier. Patience is the key. If you took this long to get fat and stay fat you certainly can be patient to lose the fat and keep it off! Your like will depend on it in some cases.

One word: Veggies. They're a life saver. Fruits, veggies and alternate, less fattening protein will do wonders. I was a vegetarian for three years and lost weight in that time. Coming back to the world of meat, I've managed to keep that off by eating hardly any fried foods, slim meat and, above all else, keeping my milk and cheese intake stable. I'm not a nutritionist, but that's what I've discovered.

if you aren't a nutritionist, don't give diet advice. not everyone needs the same thing from a diet and you can just be spewing off bad advice.

Part of the problem is the commercialism and ease of access of high fat, high calorie foods. Everywhere you go there are candy bars, potato chips, crackers, gum, and candy. On TV there's McDonalds ads and Burger King ads all promoting they're delicious looking high fat and high calorie burgers. It's extremely hard for the consumer to decide between healthy (which oft associated with bad tasting foods) and easy (usually grease dripping quick to make foods. People are also under the assumption that healthy foods cost more. Which is not true. The bag of doritoes in your hand cost you what? $5 and for that price you could hhave gotten a bag of apples, carrots, and some oranges. All healthy things. The only difference between healthy and non healthy for price is which is easy, or rather, precieved easy? Easy can never be the way to go. especially when it comes to food.

Ha! I say to the person that posted the comment stating "People want whats easy, they wanna take a pill sit on the couch and lose weight", "now get off the couch and start moving". She Doesn't know what in the heck she is talking about. I have had 14 years of Steroid use for Asthma, 15 Miscarriages and 2 full term pregnancies. I have gained weight and lost it by taking Fen-Phen and Walking 2 mi per day. (I loved Phen-Fen). I have struggled since my Hysterectomy, and without any luck. My ankles, knee's and back hurt. I know medicine caused all of this I think Medicine should take it away!
