I was first exposed to 'Larry' years ago while I was stuck in an in-laws SUV on the way to a skiing trip. This was years back, before or just as 'Larry' was breaking. I was struck by how racist some of the material was. It wasn't an act about racism per se but it was not short on "porch monkey" jokes and songs. I always chuckle to myself when I see a fluff piece on TV about 'Larry'. Not in the haha-haha way because I don't find him all that funny, but in the low, sad, laugh of futility when I see the media falling over him because he's found the magic formula of caterting to the lowest common denomenators in America. Hey 60 Minutes.. How about doing some reporting? I'd love to see a piece where you play back the racist favorites of 'Larry' to see what he has to say. He's toned down his act a lot since he's in the spotlight now but I think we're long overdue for an explanation.

Great show!! This country needs more people like Larry in it! He hit the nail on the head about this country having better things to worry about than what or who he's making fun of !!! I went to see him in Minneapolis last month, it was THE BEST ! Keep it up Larry!

Good job 60 Minutes! Finally! We 'blue collar' people have been heard. Larry is just voicing what I see and here every day.

It was obvious that the reporter for this segment was a liberal, east coast, stuffed shirt. Larry's humor we can all relate to.

Being just an "Open Mic" comic myself, I know and appreciate how much work it takes to get as good as Larry or Dan (the comedian). Just because he's not working in a pinstripe suit doesn't make him any less a professional than.......news anchormen.

IHATEYOUSUCKHOOHATEHOO - You need to lighten up. Larry's comedy is just that, comedy. Even if he told "racial" jokes even at the beginning of his career, he still tells jokes about parapalegics, mentally challenged people, all sorts. He isn't discriminatory at all. AND, this is just jokes. He is joking, and you know what, if he were to tell a joke that had to do with myself, I would laugh. Heck, does his family talk about himthe way you have, being as he's always talking about them? Way to go Larry, keep it up. I love your shows!! Wish I could see you in person some day!!!!
