I saw Dylan perform at Southern Illinois University in the late 70's. Even though he is too modest to admit it, he was the voice for a generation, and his music did make a profound impact on us. I especially like his Christian music, and it is good to know that he still knows that he has a Creator who is in charge of his destiny and ours. Love you, Bob!

Always excited to see or hear Dylan perform live. You can always expect him to sing his songs out of tune, but that's his trademark. But his thought provoking lyrics continuous to inspire the 21st century generation. Dylan, I salute you.

It's interesting that "he was the voice for a generation" and yet always denied it. I believe him. The man wrote about himself and things he saw, yet he became the golden cow of all the the lost souls of that generation. They interpreted his lyrics to suit their false perception of reality. I'd be upset too. And that false perception is still destroying this country.

i am a song writer and folksinger, names mark doolin...of doolin and greenwich in virginia.....bob dylan ? no words can be put together i can say about him, seen him 2 times in radford , va and roanoke va. great concert. but what i respect more is the will he has to overcome stuff that still is in force today. you have friends until you start becoming what you are meant to be, then the blockaids become concrete. the mighty kings of the jungle, maybe. But i can relate to several of dylans songs, i guess as most can. would love for dylan to listen to the cd...Bad Man's Gone....hey bob!....keep you path as the crow flys...mark litteral (doolin)...in virginia.

I believe Bob when he says those early songs practically wrote themselves. As an actor I've had it happen many times when the creativity would just flow and the really great stuff would come out without any conscious work on my part. It's humbling when a person can be honest and admit to themselves, and the world, that they aren't responsible for something that others are praising them for; it's all due to something bigger than ourselves.
