Ultra Marathon Man: Dean Karnazes

For most long-distance runners, the 26-mile-long marathon is the crown jewel, the pinnacle of human endurance. But for Dean Karnazes, aged 46, that's just a warm-up run. Dean regularly competes in races that are over 100 miles long. He's one of a growing breed of ultra marathoners pushing at the limits of human endurance. Among the places these marathoners compete is the Badwater Ultra Marathon. Considered the toughest race in the world, it's a grueling 135-mile trek through Death Valley in the middle of summer.

I'm really disappointed in how the 60 Minutes segments have been reorganized! Instead of having the clips from a single story automatically advance in chronological order (with an occasional ad inserted), you now have to close the viewer after each segment and select the next story segment - and watch an ad for each individual segment. Otherwise, another unrelated 60 Minutes segment comes up. Definitely NOT endearing me to the site or the advertisers...

I agree with Kathy 100%. The worst part is that if you miss the end of the story and another one (one you didn't need to see about gays in the military four times!!!) starts, yahoo is going to play another advert. So you watch possibly twice as many adverts as your really should since I end the unwanted segment anyway. Too bad because you are going to watch another ad whether you view the whole segment or not. Jerry Yang if this is your idea to increase ad revenue to stay in your seat and compete with Google I have to tell you that I probably won't come back. I mean do I have to look at this girl's underarms 20 times?

I agree with the complaints about the viewer and the ads. This is my last time viewing the 60 minutes clips, which I normally love to watch, until the site works better.

i don't know what's wrong with this site today, but I have tried to click on a couple different clips about running and they all end up with clips about gays in the military playing instead. wtf Yahoo! News?

Yeah this totally sucks, you guys need to get it together. If I want to see commercials, I will watch regular tv. One or two is not bad, but for each clip... give me a break.

My name is Seth Davis and I don't care if the site works or not. Karno is a man among boys. He inspires me. When I run, I breath to his name... "Kar"...in..."no"..."kar"....in..."no"... For me the no means "no stop, keep going, just like Karno." I love this guy!

I gave up after I saw I had to watch another ad. Tell your sponsors I didn't see what they wanted to see.
