As a son of A great man , Who is Republican is my best to discrive that i do believe that the support from the Padilla Family is with him and the all the support for him to make it on top to the presidential elections. His views are very intune to sociaties desires and other issues that affect the low income and poor class as well the midle clas in sociaty. His focus is more than other runing for presidential elections. Sincerely Jose Ulysses Padilla Jr. San Pablo California 94806

As a true Conservative no way will I ever give a vote to this man who has declared that if gets elected he will have 100 years more of war. He doesn't address the economy in a way that solves anything, his support of amnesty is atrocious, his plans for keeping us at war ought to shock the hell out of all americans, his buddy buddy attitude with Hillary is scary, he does not support small and limited government with fiscal responsibility .. remind me again why he is running as a republican? Remind me again why it is that 60 minutes never covered Dr. Ron Paul either?

Americans want to thank you for your service to our country, Senator McCain, expecially for the faith you exhibited in coming through the torture of the NVietnamese. Instead of coming back and resting on your laurels, you got busy and learned the ropes in political areas. Your service as a representative of the people while heavily marked by your military background, is appreciated. I hope you will be as good on domestic issues as I am sure you will be on foreign affairs and I believe the thugs and dictators of this world will be afraid to act out with you in office. I was glad to hear you say you don't intend to announce to the world your plan for finding and prosecuting Osama Bin Laden, because I believe loose llips sink ships and some Americans simply do not understand loyalty VS Sedition and betrayal. Some including civilians need to be prosecuted for siding with the enemy. .I believe you have more ability to work bi-partisan legislation than any one we've had in office for a while. Keep trying to unify America which is worth our efforts. Thank you for being forward thinking and visionary. I agree that isolationism and protectionism are not American attributes but I believe you can be elected if you keep working with George Bush on homeland security, and wire tapping the Al Kaeda cell members. Best wishes and Godspeed. Lynn Vogel, Independence, MO

What makes John McCain an American Hero? Since when does spending a war in prison makes one a Hero? What does this say about the men who spent the war fighting? They should all be Hero.

This week I made the first steps on becomeing a U.S. citizen. I allways wanted to do it but just never got around to it. mabe lack of motivation, but this time I'm motivated not to let a Democrat back in the White House. The seeds of this economy ware planted in the 90's. The outsourceing of Jobs, gas was $1 80 in the fall of 1999 in chicago. If you could take yahoo, Dell, and microsoft out of the late 90's where would the last term of president Clinton be. the economy fell into place for him he did'nt have to do anything. The Democrat following is made up of people that have been house greedy and very lose with there credit cards. And now they don't want to pay for any of it. There looking around for someone like Senator Clinton or Senator obomoa anybody that can let them off the hook. It's painfull to think what a Democrat nominee to the Supreme Court would be.I Pray that my paper work goes through befour november, so that I can vote for John McCain for President. To the idiot who said Senator McCain was never in combat: What do you call 23 combat missions as a Navy pilot before being shot down? What do you call refusing to go home before prisoners that had been held captive longer than he? I call that a HERO!

It's really sad when the candidates that we have to choose from are all terrible choices.

I cannot agree more about what James Mangan said in his post, Democrats in Office had made alot of bad things happien, look who created Nafta and let the trade def. increase with china and other contries. If we do not stand for the GPO party now our contry my be in trouble in the hands of the other party with both clinton and obama together do not have enough experience to lead the world's best nation.
