God bless Jon Stewart! We miss his wit here in the UK. I hope the strike ends soon so we can get our Daily Show hit even if it is a day later. It's really sad that the only place to find fair and balanced real news is in the world of comedy... Go John Go!

When Jon first took over the Daily Show, I was skeptical about whether the show would survive. But, Alas, he took it and turned it into one of the most significant pieces of contemporary pop culture. And, even though it falls under the category of "fake news", I trust its comentary more than CNN, Fox News, or MSNBC. I hope The Daily Show is around for many years to come.

John Stewart and his writing team are heroes to me. His commentaries highlighting the double-speak of many so called "leaders" is right on target and a breath of fresh air for the intellectually alert. The fact that he reaches such a large audience gives me hope, since the mainstream media is often really the one presenting the "fake" news. Bless you, you handsome beast.

Shouldn't post in a hurry ;-) I meant Jon and media is plural -but I'm not mistaken about my gratitude.

the fact that he hits both sides of the spectrum whether it be blasting republicans or democrats, the show keeps an anti-biased base that keeps an intellectual audience and a humorous one. good work

Is this an actual segment that will air on 60 minutes, or just these @#$% y one minute clips that are so annoying. I have no idea why 60 minutes agreed to let yahoo air these, their video player sucks, and the stories are completely mangled by this format. Please CBS, air your own stuff in its entirety.

Do I have to watch one minute of advertising for every minute of programming? I am ready to go into my closet and set my Swiffers on fire.

The Daily Show is great in that through humor and the unbiased side the show takes, gives viewers a true picture of what is really happening in the news. I actually trust it more than Fox, CNN, etc. As Jon agreed in one of these out takes shown today, more people trust this show than the REAL news. I think this is great! Maybe the other Real News networks will wake up!! Jon, your sense of humor is great and I really enjoy your show. Long may you run, Jon!
