Will Smith

He's just 39 years old and Will Smith has already conquered three entertainment worlds: as a Grammy Award winning rapper, a TV sitcom sensation on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," and today as one of the biggest movie stars on the planet. He's been nominated for an Oscar twice and his films have earned almost $4.5 billion at the box office. The keys to his success are talent, optimism and enthusiasm, as Steve Kroft found out.

I am looking forward to I AM LEGEND myself, but will it be successful in this time of black market movies. American Gangster was out on black market two weeks prior to it's release and it is rumor that I am legend is floating around. These movies are DVD quailty and and not the movie recording that we are used to. I believe the Director's cut is getting swipe some how, or someone don't want the movies to be successful for some reason.

I've watched you grow up on Fresh Prince. Partied to Summertime, watched all your films, and loved the Sound Track for the Wild, Wild West, and today watching (60) mins. You inspired me! I believe too, but don't extradite as I should, so my dreams are mine, and wish I could share, so that the World could see another star. Maybe I will work on these issues after listening to you this evening. "No more weakness, no more sorrow, I'll try and find my self a little harder tomorrow." My words. From a Poem I wrote years ago titled (Identity) The scary thing is when you do share, and people steal your joy, you baby, and never give back.....Been there, now I'm frightened. Ya feeling me? Thanks Will Smith/You inspired me. I am a writer, and wish I could share.......Maybe one day.....Then all my financial wows will be her-story, and history///LOL Keep on keeping on! Peace Jill E. Hello, I made it a point to catch your show tonight because you always have specific information one may need. I had no idea Will Smith was on your show tonight. I am seeking assistance with trouble youths in a small town outside of Washington, DC. The local community could use a boost from someone like a Will Smith to help us push these kids in the right direction. We are having an impact but there is still much work to be done. There is a sense of URGENCY. Thanking you in advance. (saundraonly1@yahoo.com)

I definitely enjoyed the segment on Will Smith. It provided me with a little more insight about just how wonderful this man is. I consider him to be more than just a superstar but an individual who is a sincere human being. In other words, he seems like someone I can invite to my home for a barbeque. I wish there were more shows like the Prince of Belair on the major networks! Often times, I have said to my husband and many others that you no longer see positive images of black men and black families on television. I hope that era has not ended for good. Will Smith, thank you for sharing your uniqueness, talent and gifts with the world over the many years. I pray that you and yours are and will continue to be blessed with God's best blessings.

I am also looking forward to "I Am Legend", and about the whole thing with the black market issue and crises; I am the faith and I truly believe that if God has planned the movie to be a success, and a hit movie. Then it will be regardless of the issue and crises.

Iam from the same era as Will and I really didnt respect the parents dont understand vibe, but it worked. But I do respect Will because he understand the process of life and sucess and he truly knows how to balance them both. You're Not Truly successful until you learn to help people capture their dreams! And he GOT IT! I hope some of our B...K elite follow the ideology of our Great ones who understand success. LIFE IS GOOD! ENJOY EVERYDAY OF IT.
